Testing vs extracurricular: who wins?

When it comes to extracurricular activities some may argue that they take away from a students study and homework time. Others argue that the addition of extra curricular activities help improve student testing.

While these are strictly opinion on sides of parents and students, a study conducted by University of Southern Mississippi shows that while grades were not too much improved, students that were engaged in extracurricular activities had overall higher SAT test scores.
