A to B Sequencing- Story Telling at its finest

The most important part of creating a story
When learning the art of film, it’s important to keep in mind different camera angles and shots to bring the story together. Here, I’ve demonstrated a match cut, a jump cut, and a cutaway.

These shots are imperative to film because not only does it move the story along, it gives it tight editing. These types of jumps can also add fun edits like being able to teleport, or even fun close up shots.

Speaking of shots, it’s important to include different types of shots in your video. Closeup, wide, and medium shots can give a viewer the sense of being there or being able to see how the story is unfolding. It makes it more clear for the story.

I’d love to see how you wonderful people incorporate these shots into your own films!
